This page provides detailed instruction for installing XPSWMM/XPStorm. You should have the following ready before proceeding to install XPSWMM/XPStorm:

**For Autodesk Water** **Software License**

- Entitlement ID (EID) for local license or network server details where the license is located
- A link to download the installers

**For Standalone or Floating Network Dongles**

- The USB dongle
- The matching *.xcf file for the dongle
- A link to download the installers

Autodesk Water provides these items to your company contact person. If you could not locate all the items, please contact [Autodesk Support](https://www.autodesk.com/support/contact-support).

## Download the installer

For most users, regardless of the license type, all you need is the latest EXE installer, which packaged all the prerequisites into a single file, including the Autodesk Water License Administrator.

## Installation

Before proceeding with the installation, check the [System Requirements](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/xps/pages/19663446) to see if your computer meets the specifications. Also, visit the [Third Party Downloads](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/xps/pages/19662604) page to learn about the required third-party prerequisites and database drivers.
