We recommend that you use Windows 10, 64 bit. XPSWMM/XPStorm is distributed with 64 bit engines, which require a 64-bit version of Windows. If you need to run XPSWMM/XPStorm on a 32-bit version of Windows, contact Innovyze to download 32 bit versions of the engines. Windows 2008, 2008 R2, and 2012 are also compatible for the server components, such as network Sentinel locks. For more information about the system requirements, refer to [System Requirements](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/xps/pages/19663446). ## Installation Type  XPSWMM/XPStorm is available in three setup types: - **Standalone** - requires Sentinel lock and client specific configuration file. - **Network Server** - requires Sentinel lock. - **Network Client** - requires a Network Server and client specific configuration file.
