There are a couple of configurations as described below: ## Client Application connection to New Network Installation A network server installation is made and the dongle is connected to a network server location.    1. Network Server installation instructions are here:  [Install Network Server.](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/xps/pages/19662203/Installing+XSWMM+or+XPStorm#InstallingXSWMMorXPStorm-NetworkServerInstallation) 2. Edit the following files from the installation directory: C:\Program Files\Innovyze\xpstorm2019.1.3_x64 > Macro (legacy-content) [NETWORK] MODE=***NETWORK*** SERVER=***192.1.1.250*** STATUS=OK ## Client and Dongle do not change An existing standalone installation needs to be converted to network installation to support Remote Desktop connections.  1. Edit the following files from the installation directory: C:\Program Files\Innovyze\xpstorm2019.1.3_x64 > Macro (legacy-content) [NETWORK] MODE=***NETWORK*** SERVER=**127.0.0.1** STATUS=OK Both the XCF and INI file can be found in either application directory: - C:\Program Files\Innovyze\xpstorm2019.1.3_x64 - C:\Program Files\Innovyze\xpswmm2019.1.3_x64 ## Validating XCF License is Floating Use XPDiagnostic to validate the XCF file is a Network Configuration as shown in the red square below: ![image](media://9b3b4e30-d4e3-4e86-9222-e5bba582739e)
