InfoWater Pro allows you to set up default values for any element type to facilitate the process of digitizing a network.

To set up default values for a specific element type, select an element of that element type, modify any fields with desired values in the **Attribute tab of Model Explorer**, and click **Save Default** on the **Attribute Toolbar area** to create a record template for the newly created elements.
