This page provides instructions on how to add, edit, or delete Custom Fields in [Sensor Data](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/info360/pages/15008173/Server+Configuration#ServerConfiguration-SensorData).

### Workflow

**To add a new Custom Field:**

1. Go to **Server Config > Sensor Data**.
2. Click the > Macro (inline-media-image)

button.
3. Click **Add**.
4. Fill in the following fields:
  1. **Sensor Type** - Select the **Sensor Type** from the drop-down menu.
  2. **Field** - Enter a description for the new Custom Field.
  3. **Display Name** - Enter the name of how the Custom Field will display in the dialog.
  4. **US Unit** - Enter the US units.
  5. **SI Unit** - Enter the SI units.
  6. **Default Value** - Enter the default value for the Custom Field.
  7. **Action** - Click to **Add**, **Edit** or **Delete** a Custom Field.

5. Click **Apply**.
6. The Custom Fields will become available when you add or edit the applicable sensor in [Sensor Data](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/info360/pages/15008173/Server+Configuration#ServerConfiguration-SensorData). In the following image; **Max**, **Optimal**, and **Low** are Custom Fields.> Macro (inline-media-image)
7. In the [Sensor as X Axis](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/info360/pages/15007780/Dashlets#Dashlets-SensorasXAxis) Dashlet, the Custom Fields will appear as **Constant Values**. In the following image; **Max**, **Optimal**, and **Low** are Custom Fields.> Macro (inline-media-image)
8. The Custom Fields value can be retrieved and displayed in a chart using the [Attribute](https://help-innovyze.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/info360/pages/15008349) function.


**To edit an existing Custom Field:**

1. Go to **Server Config > Sensor Data**.
2. Click the > Macro (inline-media-image)

button.
3. In the** Manage Custom Fields **dialog, click** Edit.**
4. Edit the fields accordingly.
5. Click **Apply**.

**To delete a Custom Field:**

1. Go to **Server Config > Sensor Data**.
2. Click the > Macro (inline-media-image)

button.
3. In the** Manage Custom Fields **dialog, click** Delete**.

4. Click** Delete** in the warning message to confirm deletion.
