xpswmm/xpstorm Resource Center xps

The capabilities of XPSWMM/XPStorm you have access to is dependent on the License Types you have purchased.

If multiple licenses are available to your machine, you may switch license using the License Selection dialog.

The dialog allows you to select the License System that is applicable to you. The following options are available from the drop-down menu.

  • Sentinel SuperPro - For Standalone or Floating Network hardware dongles. The fields in the dialog will be disabled when this is selected.
  • Thales - For the soft license provided by Thales' Rights Management System (RMS) or Entitlement Management System (EMS) products.

Local

If you have a fixed (standalone) license already applied to your local machine, then selecting Local will limit the available licenses to those available locally to the machine only.

Available Licenses - A list of all available licenses local to the machine. Select the license from the list and then click OK to apply the license.

Note: When this option is selected, you are required to Apply Software License using the Innovyze License Administrator in your local computer.

Network

If you have a floating (network) license server setup, then selecting Network allows you to search and select the licenses available in the network.

Network License Server - This text box is used to manually enter a server name or address. Click Refresh and the server will be searched for licenses.

Available Licenses - A list of all available licenses connected to the server. The numbers in brackets represent the number of seats in total, followed by the number of seats in use. Select the license from the list and then click OK to apply the license.

Note: When this option is selected, you are required to Apply Software License using the Innovyze License Administrator in the network server.

Additional Feature for selected license

The following additional features are available for the selected license:

GPU - Adds the number of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) solve option. The number of GPU solves that are not available for a particular license bundle will be disabled.

The GPU solver takes advantage of the parallel computing power for faster processing of your model. Instead of computing values one cell at a time, GPU allows you to compute the values of cells simultaneously, which leads to substantial increase in speed, especially for large models. For more information, refer to 2D Job Control Settings and System Requirements.

Multi-Domain -  Adds Multi-Domains functionality to any license bundle.

XPWSPG - Adds XPWSPG to any license bundle.
