The XPRafts graphical user interface utilizes the current Windows, Icons, Menus, and other elements to deliver an intuitive user environment.
The XPRafts interface may be used to create a new infrastructure network as well as to edit an existing one. The user interface can also be described as object-oriented. A user first selects an object or range of objects using the pointing device, and then performs an operation on the selection by giving a menu command. For example, to delete a group of objects they are first selected with the mouse and the "Delete Objects" command is selected from the Edit Menu.
The XP environment consists of:
- A window with a series of menus along the top of the screen used for controlling operation of the program.
- Several tool strips of icons for file operation, object creation/manipulation and short cuts to menu commands.
