Detailed Element Reports provide details about affected elements and junction/pipe performances in only one assessment run for a particular assessment valve. Details Element Reports are categorized into two groups: Affected Elements and Performance Elements. When you click on the group box of Affected Area Reports, the group box of Affected Elements is enabled. When you click on the group box of Performance Reports, the group box of Performance Elements is enabled.

Detailed Element Reports – Affected Elements

Affected Elements of Detailed Element Reports show a table about nodes, pipes, or pumps/valves in Closed Area, Disconnected Area, or Combined Area for the current assessment valve. The current assessment valve is a particular valve highlighted in the Affected Area Reports. You can search for a desired assessment valve through the dialog of Search Assessing Element. Nodes include junctions, tanks, and reservoirs. The radios buttons for Closed Elements, Disconnected Elements, and Combined Elements are by default synchronized to the buttons of Closed Area, Disconnected Area, and Combined Area, respectively. You can later change the scope of Affected by clicking any radio button.


Detailed Element Report - Affected Elements

The Detailed Element Report - Affected Elements section uses the same report format for Nodes, Pipes and Pumps/Valves as follows:

  • Assessment ID - ID for an individual assessment valve.

  • Element ID - ID for affected elements such as nodes, pipes, or pumps/valves.

  • Element Type - Describe whether an element is a model element or a GIS Layer element.

Detailed Element Reports – Performance Elements

Performance Elements of Detailed Element Reports show a table containing detailed information about High Pressure Junctions, Low Pressure Junctions, Reverse Flow Pipes, and High Velocity Pipes for the current assessment valve. You can search for a desired assessment valve through the dialog box of Search Assessing Element.

High Pressure Junctions/Low Pressure Junctions

  • Assessment ID - ID for an individual assessment valve.

  • Junction ID - ID for High Pressure Junctions or Low Pressure Junctions.

  • Demand - The demand of a particular High Pressure Junction or Low Pressure Junction. Units for demand are defined in the Simulation Options.

  • Pressure - The pressure of a particular High Pressure Junction or Low Pressure Junction. Units for pressure are defined in the Simulation Options.

Reverse Flow Pipes/High Velocity Pipes

  • Assessment ID - ID for an individual assessment valve.

  • Pipe ID - ID for Reverse Flow Pipes or High Velocity Pipes.

  • Flow - The flow of a particular Reverse Flow Pipe or High Velocity Pipe. Units for flow are defined in the Simulation Options.

  • Velocity - The velocity of a particular Reverse Flow Pipe or High Velocity Pipe. Units for velocity are defined in the Simulation Options.
