The Advanced GA Options dialog box as shown below allows you to specify advanced GA parameters to improve convergence and accuracy.
Advanced GA Options
Use Elitism Strategy: - Check this option to enable the Elitism Strategy in the optimization process.
Use Threshold Selection: - Check this option to enable the Threshold Selection in the optimization process.
Random Seed: - Initial value between 0 and 1 for GA Randomization engine.
Cut Probability (%): - This rate gives the expected number of chromosomes experiencing the cut operation per 100 chromosomes.
Splice Probability (%): - This rate gives the expected number of chromosomes experiencing the splice operation per 100 chromosomes.
Allelic Mutation Probability (%): - This rate gives the expected number of bits undergoing mutation.
Genic Mutation Probability (%): - This rate gives the expected number of genes undergoing mutation.
Threshold of Solver Errors: - Maximum number of repeated solver errors before its termination.
OK - Apply all changes and exit Advanced GA Options.
Cancel - Cancel all changes and exit Advanced GA Options.
