The Condition Assessment window is used to view inspection and defect data through an internal view. You can access this view by clicking in the InfoAsset Planner toolbar. All surveys imported through the Survey Data Import option and run through the analysis wizard can be viewed here. This window is only available in the Sewer network.
CCTV defects, lateral connections, and rehabilitation plan information can be reviewed in-depth after being generated from the CCTV Analysis Wizard. The Condition Assessment Window can be utilized as a floating dialog box or docked as part of the ArcMap environment. The Condition Assessment window's main purpose is to provide quick access to all internal survey and rehab data associated with any pipe selected on the map, including video and pictures. The entire viewer is interactive.
Survey Import - Specify the CCTV dataset that will be used for display, videos, and pictures. Notice that multiple different survey imports containing different types of inspection data may be stored and toggled in the Condition Assessment with this option.
CapPlan - Specifies the Rehabilitation Plan analysis that will be displayed on the internal view of the facility when the Final Rehab tick box is checked. These final rehabs are the result of the rehab decision tree analysis. The individual Rehab Methods associated with the final rehab can be found in the Final Rehab. tab on the right-side of the Condition Assessment window. You may check multiple final rehabs with the CapPlan drop-down menu, but should note that Rehab Methods will be duplicated and included in the Condition Assessment view if the final Rehab Action is the same in multiple CapPlans.
Tick Boxes - Used to adjust and filter the internal view to display different set of defects and/or suggested rehabs.
- Defects: Turns on all point defects within the selected surveys.
- Connections: Turns on all connection defects within the selected surveys.
- Continuous: Turns on all continuous defects within the selected surveys.
- Draft Rehab: Use to view the suggested rehabilitation based off of the CCTV Analysis Wizard and Draft Rehabilitation Plan (defect-by-defect analysis).
- Final Rehab: View the suggested rehabilitation based off of the CCTV Wizard and the Rehabilitation Plan. This Final Rehab still will show Rehab Methods like the Draft Rehab Plan, but only those included in the final Rehab Action (pipe-by-pipe analysis).
Type Filter - Defect codes are associated to a particular Defect Type after running the CCTV Analysis Wizard. To view these Defect Types, review the appropriate Defect Codes table. This drop-down menu allows the viewer to filter their defects by this Defect Type field. Users may customize these fields within the Defect Codes table.
Score Filter - This sliding bar may be used to view only defects of certain grades.
Other interactive options within the Condition Assessment window include the right-click option to copy and paste the image. In addition, you may select defects by clicking on them in the internal view. When a defect or rehab is selected, you will see it highlighted in the appropriate tab on the right-side of the window. A selected defect may also be manually edited. If multiple inspections are associated with the pipe, these may also be toggled on an off as desired. Toggling off or on inspections affects the defects seen in the view and in the tabs on the right-side.
Select a defect - Select a defect on the map to display within the Condition Assessment.
Zoom to facility - Zoom to facility on map.
Explore facility - Launch the facility explorer for the selected survey and facility.
Show CCTV Log - Launches the print preview window to display the CCTV Inspection Form. Inspection and defect information can now be printed or exported in a standard exchange format.
Rerun Analysis - Rerun Pipe Survey Analysis Wizard for selected pipe and related inspections only.
Show Decision Tree Branch - Show path through the selected decision tree from the CapPlan drop-down menu displaying arrival at final Rehab Action.
CCTV Video - Play the associated CCTV video or executable.
Pause - Pause the associated CCTV video.
Video Setting - Set the video path. Video paths specified here will overwrite the default video path settings specified within the CCTV database and/or media tables. InfoAsset Planner may link to many different video formats and even .exe files to launch more customized CCTV display wizards.
Videos stored in cloud solutions such as Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, ICloud, and Ravnur may also be linked to CCTV inspections by adding the URL to the video path.

Previous - Previous defect or assigned rehab along pipe length.
Next - Next defect or assigned rehab along pipe length.
CCTV Photo - View the associated CCTV photos.
Photo Setting - Set the photo path. This option works just like the Video Setting option described above.
Zoom in - Drag and draw a square after selecting this tool to zoom in on the pipe internal view.
Zoom out - Drag and draw a square after selecting this tool to zoom out of the pipe internal view.
Rotate Counterclockwise - Rotate view counter clockwise.
Rotate Clockwise - Rotate view clockwise.
Clear - Clear pipe information from the internal view. This does not delete any defects; it only unchecks all the defect and rehab options so nothing is visible.
Hide/show defect tab information - The last option with the two arrowheads allows users to toggle the view of the tab information.
Condition Assessment Tab Tables
Tabular information related to inspections, point defects, connections, continuous defects, draft rehabs, final rehabs, and overall pipe condition scores are also included in the Condition Assessment window. The tab tables will either display to the right of the internal view or below the internal view depending on the Condition Assessment window size.
Inspections - Displays the fields and values for selected inspections. This tab is almost completely editable so users can adjust inspection values quickly. Individual inspections can also be created and deleted in this tab . You may also use the drop-down option to toggle between different inspections which may be associated to the same pipe segment.
Defects - All the defects within the selected inspections are displayed in this tab. If you select a defect in the internal view, the defect is immediately highlighted in the defect tab. A selected defect may also be deleted or edited with the two buttons available in this tab.
Connections - Connection defects are displayed in this tab. Only some specific defect codes will be displayed in this tab. These codes include CN, CI, CX, TBA, TF, TFC, TBI, TSA, TB, etc. and can be edited as well.
Continuous - Continuous defects are conditions which occur over more than zero feet or meters. Unlike Connection defects, they are differentiated from point defects based on length, not defect code. These defects may also be deleted and edited as well.
Draft Rehab. - Lists the Rehab Methods assigned to each applicable defect based on the Defect Codes table. For the Draft Rehab, all defects with associated Rehab Methods are shown. You may not edit these methods from the Condition Assessment window.
Final Rehab. - Lists the Rehab Methods assigned to the pipe based on the final assigned Rehab Action. Certain Rehab Methods may be filtered out or added in this list compared to the Draft Rehab tab. You may not edit these methods from the Condition Assessment window.
ConditionScore - Displays the pipe scores calculated by InfoAsset Planner and derived from the pipe defect codes. These scores may not be directly edited and they are only relevant for some types of Survey Data types.
Manholes and Laterals
In addition to showing the pipe internal view, the Condition Assessment window may display manholes and laterals with associated CCTV data as well. Almost all tools from the pipe Condition Assessment window are still available for manholes and laterals. Unlike pipes, manholes will always display vertically as shown below and have two additional tick box options.

Keep Ratio - Changes the ratio aspect view of the manhole.
