The License Administrator allows xpdrainage software licenses to be activated, maintained or transferred between machines.
By default, the License Administrator is included with the xpdrainage installation and can be launched from the Windows Start menu. There are five main actions available on the software: Install a Software License, Show License Details, Generate C2V File, Apply V2C File, and Transfer a License To/From a Machine.
The Install Software License option downloads a new software license onto the machine via a Product Code provided by the Distributor.
To install a new license:

To show license details:
In order to update license information or extend the license expiry date, it will be necessary to generate and send a Client to Vendor (.C2V) file to XP Solutions or the software distributor. C2V files contain essential license information such as the License Key ID, available product features, host name, and others. The C2V file is also required for offline license activation.
To generate a C2V file:
The selected Software License Key ID should correspond to the license details shown in the Sentinel Admin Control Center: http://localhost:1947/_int_/devices.html
After a C2V file has been created and sent to XP Solutions or the distributor, users should receive a Vendor to Client (.V2C) file containing the updated information. This must be applied to the machine where xpdrainage is installed in order to proceed with offline license activation, or to update the stored license information.
To apply a V2C file:
The License Administrator provides users with the ability to transfer an xpdrainage license from one computer to another. This process can be completed any number of times with the xpdrainage license; however the license will only allow the software to function on the machine where it currently resides.
To transfer a license to another computer:
The selected Software License Key ID must not be in use to allow for the transfer to take place. Please ensure that the licensed application (i.e. XPDRAINAGE) is closed before attempting to complete the transfer.
