Plan
There are several forms that give the user different perspectives of the Phase design: Plan, Profile, Tree View, Toolbox, Flow Paths, Flow Train, Display Settings, and Data Legend.
Click the links below for further details on the specific view types.
View Type | Description |
---|---|
Plan View | This is main design surface of xpdrainage. The locations of the various network and design elements are graphically represented on this window. |
Profile | The Profile form allows a given Flow Path to be viewed in profile, and shows the relative lengths and levels of the various network elements. |
Display Settings | The display settings allow a user to modify a view setting, to adjust colours and other aspects to better view an aspect of the design. |
Tree View | The Tree View shows elements of the current Site grouped by Phase, which is in turn grouped by type. This allows the site to be quickly navigated, and provides direct access to the various options, instead of individually finding them on the ribbon menu. |
Toolbox | The Toolbox shows the available functions and items that can be added to the Plan. A default set of items are supplied and additional items can be added through the Template Manager. |
Flow Paths | A Flow Path is a defined route through the Site that can be used to filter the results or produce a Profile view. |
Add Train | A Flow Train is created by clicking the Add Train command on the Build Menu or the Toolbox. This allows users to place items automatically joined by connections on the plan. |
Data Legend | The Data Legend shows the colours associated with values on the Surface and Deluge views.
